"Christian" Rock Music : Arguments and Responses
Published in Spiral-bound by Katalin Korossy (July, 1999)
Author: Katalin Soltesz Korossy
Average review score:

Getting at the Truth
Dr. Korossy has done an outstanding job dealing with the arguments that musicians in the church rely on for using pop and rock music in worship. Her approach is to take these arguments one at a time and show the lack of logic in each of them. Having been a church musician for nearly twenty years, I have heard every one of these arguments at some time or other. Her text gives solid answers for the musician who desires to approach this subject from a biblical perspective. This is a must read for every music minister and church musician who want to please God in their music, especially those who have fallen prey to the poor logic used to argue that rock music is no different than any other music as to its effects on the listener. It is well researched and full of great footnotes for further study. I am constantly referring to it as needs arise.

Classic Rock
Published in Hardcover by Metro Books (September, 1995)
Authors: Gary Cee and Pete Fornatale
Average review score:

Tells classic rock story with tight text and great photos.
A crisp history of classic rock. New York Modern Rock Disc Jockey Gary Cee breaks the the genre into perfect chapters; The Magnificent Seven (Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin...), Streets of SanFrancisco (The Dead, Janis, Jefferson Airplane...), Clear Voices (Springsteen, Lennon...) While so many of these artists could cross from chapter to chapter, Cee nails it. Great photos accompany the accurate, well written story. A forward by Classic Rock DJ Pete Fornatale.

Classic Rock
Published in Paperback by Hal Leonard (June, 1996)
Average review score:

Excellent collection of some of the best classic rock
My son chose this book because of the variety of music here, songs by the beatles, Elton John, Billy Joel, Beach Boys, Van Morrison, and on and on... The score is moderate and most can be played by an intermediate student. His piano teacher enjoys it so much, we're giving her a copy as a gift!

Classic Rock Climbs No. 12: Ralph Stover State Park, Pennsylvania
Published in Paperback by Chockstone Pr (October, 1999)
Author: Paul Nick
Average review score:

Great, but not all inclusive
This is a decent review of Ralph Stover as a climbing area. It covers all the standard climbs with decent information on the area and it's pretty easy to find the routes. However, there are areas not covered in the book (to the East and towards the river).
